A big weekend of agility at the NADAC Ballarat trials.  Nice change to be close to home!    Skye was a superstar all weekend, and eleven qualifiers over the weekend - with seven first places, and four seconds.   She was also awarded High in Trial for top performing dog over the weekend.  Not to be outdone, Kailey was snapping on her heels with nine qualifiers - eight first places, a second place and two third places.  Both girls added some new titles to their names, and Skye also completed her full set of novice NADAC titles to earn her first versatility award.

Day three of the Sunbury International Carnival of dog shows.   Phoenix was awarded Bitch Challenge by UK judge Ms K Gorman.   Daughter Willow (Skyesong Dancing Thru Life), owned by Sarah Goulopoulos was awarded Puppy of Breed.  Willow is here on holidays for a couple of weeks whilst her owners are getting married, so came along to the shows with us, and really showed her style!    It's been a huge long weekend of showing and catching up with old friends from all over Australia who flew in for the weekend.

21 - 23 October

A FANTASTIC weekend of agility at the NADAC Nationals.  Skye showed that she's not ready for retirement yet, by picking up fifteen qualifiers over the weekend - nine first places and five second places!   Not to be outdone, Kailey had some blisteringly fast rounds to pick up eleven qualifiers - also with nine first places and a second!    We won the overall award for most successful on the weekend.

8 October

A quick trip to Sydney for the Toller Breed Feature at the United Retriever Club show and trial.   Buzz was Puppy of Breed, and Kailey showed her style by coming first in Masters Jumpers and also winning the overall Top Agility Toller trophy.   A great weekend to catch up with lots of tollers and celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Tollers in Australia!

2 October

The Melbourne Royal is over for another year.   Took Kailey in to compete in agility today, and so very proud of her for picking up Second Place in Masters Jumpers (First Place 400 height).   The Royal is a tough day out for the dogs, and Kailey had a wonderful time being cuddled and patted by all of the crowds, even managing to get some new stuffed toys from passers by who thought she was too cute to argue with!

September 2011

29 September

Toller day at the Melbourne Royal.  Took young Buzz in for his first royal show and he took it all in his stride, charming the crowds and loving all the attention.  Very proud of him for picking up Puppy of Breed for the day.

17 September

At the Horsham Show, Phoenix wins Best of Breed to finish her Australian Show Championship.   Very pleased that she has been able to finish so quickly, with only a few months of showing.   Now it's on to the fun things, when she gets to begin agility trialling in 2012!
